What kind of food is Rattler’s Bar B Que?

We serve generous portions of slowly cooked, tender mesquite barbeque tri tip, chicken, and ribs. You’ll also find shareable starters, fresh salads, burgers, and more on our menu.

Can I order online?

Online ordering is not available at this time. But we gladly welcome phone orders, call us at 661-251-4195.

Do you accept reservations?

We do not accept reservations currently; but we do offer call-ahead seating for parties of 9 or less. We suggest calling the restaurant at 661-251-4195 20 minutes prior to your arrival time to reduce your wait time when you arrive. If your party is 10 or more, we suggest calling the restaurant ahead of your arrival time to inquire about special accommodations.

How can I purchase a Rattler's gift card?

Gift Cards can be purchased at the restaurant or online. Purchase a Gift Card.

When is Happy Hour?

Happy Hour is available Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 6:30pm.

Does Rattler’s give/make donations?

We take pride in serving our community as much as possible. Should you like to make a request for a donation, please visit Donation Request.

Do you do anything special for birthdays or celebrations?

Yes, we love to celebrate! We offer a complimentary Hot Fudge Sundae for the birthday guest.

Do you offer event space for large parties?

We welcome parties of a larger size on a walk-in basis and will do our best to accommodate your group. We recommend calling the restaurant in advance of your arrival so the team can set an expectation for wait time and prepare your space accordingly.

Are there gluten free menu items?

Although we do not have gluten-free menu items, we do have gluten-sensitive items. These items will have a green GS next to the item name.

Do you serve alcohol?

Yes, we offer a full bar with a variety of signature cocktails, beer and wine.

What are your holiday hours?

To allow our team members and managers to spend time with their families, we are closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Other holiday hours vary, and we suggest you see Visit Us for more detailed hours.

What is the minimum order for Catering?

For pick up, there is a 10-guest minimum. For delivery, there is a minimum $200 spend. For full service, there is a 30-guest minimum. For full service on-site grilling, there is a 75-guest minimum.

How is the pricing for my catering order determined?

Our catering menu is priced per person.

How far in advance of my event do I need to place my catering order?

For full-service events, we ask for 1 week notice prior to the event date, with the final order confirmed no later than 48 hours prior to the event. For delivery, we ask for a minimum of 48 hours.

What types of events does Rattler’s cater?

All types. Weddings. Corporate events. Retirement parties. Bridal showers. Baby showers. Birthday parties. School events. The list goes on.

What type of catering packages are offered?

We offer traditional catering packages and boxed meals. We also offer catering pans to add-on to any catering package or pick up in the restaurant.

Are beverage or dessert options available with catering?

Yes! For beverages, we offer Coca-Cola products and bottled water, priced per person. We also offer half gallons of our iced teas and lemonades. For dessert, we offer Our Family Recipe Carrot Cake, Original Cheesecake, and Chocolate Chip Pan Cookies, priced per person.

How do you accommodate children when placing a catering order?

When ordering for children, we suggest those under 10 years of age be counted as 2 for 1, two children as one adult. Additional options are available, we suggest speaking with one of our Catering Specialists in more detail to best assist your needs.

What is included in delivery service catering?

A light setup of your catering order and complimentary paper goods. Plastic cutlery and disposable chaffing dishes are available upon request.

What is included in full-service catering?

One or more dedicated Catering Team Member for three hours, choice of black or white linens, chafing dishes and pewter serving bowls, stainless steel serving utensils, and quality plates and cutlery.

What is included in full-service with onsite grilling catering?

One or more dedicated catering team members (depending on your guest count), one grill master, one grill, and equipment to perform onsite grilling. Choice of black or white linens, chafing dishes, and pewter serving bowls, stainless steel serving utensils, and quality plates, napkins, and cutlery.

What do I need to provide for a full-service event?

We ask that there be two (2) 6 to 8-foot tables or a similar space for each buffet line requested.

How is payment for my catering order handled?

To hold your catering reservation, we require a signed Catering Contract, and a credit card on file. We accept all major credit cards. The day before the event, the credit card on file will be charged the full amount of the order.

Am I able to tip my servers?

Yes, absolutely! Please also note that A 15% gratuity is already added to every catering order.
